According to Vedic scriptures and great acharyas, the world we live in is replete with Kunta or misery. Here, we are helplessly forced to suffer birth, disease, old-age and death. From powerful leaders to common men, no one can escape these four miseries. Yet, the acharyas say, the human form of life is especially suitable for obtaining a permanent solution to these problems. In the human form one can achieve the eternal world which is singularly characterized by the complete absence of miseries. The Supreme Lord descends to this material world only with the sole purpose to invite everyone to return to this eternal world called Vaikunta – The World without Miseries
It is said in the Padma Purana that anyone who passes under Vaikunta Dwara on the day of Vaikunta Ekadashi with great faith and devotion, attains “Vaikunta”.
